Photographer, tour guide and fresh type designer David Kerkhoff has just allowed me to rework some of the fonts in his ever growing and ever improving font library - and I'm very much looking forward to giving these fonts a professional workover.

Our domain was down for more than 48 hours because of a server crash with our hosting provider. Emails are still not up, but at least the website is up again. Sorry about this. Hopefully the new server will behave better. :)

Vic Fieger has allowed me to rework the fonts in his nice collection! Vic is an illustrator and cartoonist who has made many stylistic fonts for use in his work, and Im really looking forward to polishing many of them up to a professional standard and giving them our usual multilingual character set.

I have been quite busy reworking the fonts of my existing contacts - and also releasing my own creations - so it has been around a year since I approached any new designers. Well, I have recently contacted a few, and now I'm happy to announce that the creator of "Bleeding Cowboys" (Guillaume Séguin / Last Soundtrack) has allowed me to rework his fonts - so be prepared for some grungy and gritty fonts here on CheapProFonts! They will be quite time-consuming to rework (because of all the small details), but it will be worth it :)

A month ago or so I was asked to do a special job - looking over and correction a Norwegian translation of a web page. Well, now this page is page is live, and I would like to brag about my involvement with this Microsoft font info page in Norwegian.
Imagine that: little old me doing work for the mighty Microsoft. Cool. :)

Updates are a bit far between these days. I have had a couple of custom projects - and I have something quite special (and time-consuming) in the works to be released as font #100.

I have finally finished the first part of my project of creating the ultimate geometric font family! Phew! :)
This first part is a rounded and soft version made with three weights, each with 6 variants = 18 fonts! I even made a free 19th version, so that you can test out the quality and language support of this large family. Enjoy! :)

CheapProFonts got a very favorable mention in the latest MyFonts newsletter and the font they presented (Black Jack Pro) got a very good response - putting it straight at #2 in their bestseller list! Wow! What a delightful surprise! :)
Actually the whole newsletter "10 @ $10" was perfect for our collection, and MyFonts totally got the idea behind it. Thanks, MyFonts! I hope this kind of newsletter becomes a regular feature! ;)
