Font #110: Inked God Pro
19.06.10 12:00
This font has that grungy, gritty look, and combines it with some elegant swirls. Weird and wonderful. :) I have added swirls and decorations to ALL the uppercase letters that did not have them, so there are now wider possibilities to add interesting decorations to your composition. In addition to the expanded language support, of course.

Font #106-109: Kingthings Serifique Pro
04.06.10 12:00
This is what you get when you mix monoline rounded letters with some bracketed serifs and finish it off with a sprinkle of ornamental appendages. The result is very readable, rather original and quite charming. :) I have fixed some inconsistencies in serif designs across the weights, cleaned up the serif connections - and added a fourth weight. But I have kept all the wonky curves and slightly differing stroke thicknesses, as they are so integral to the charm. Kevin King says: «I guess all type designers at some point think "Well, I'll just have a go at a standard text face..." There is a long story here somewhere, suffice it to say that I started with the thinnest version - typical. I wanted to make a standard serif text face - until I saw it in print and thought "Yuk! it looks like everything else!" - still does really but with twiddles and pooneys...» If you find the "twiddles & pooneys" too much you can tone them down with the OpenType "Stylistic Alternate" feature (which will make sure they don't appear on three consecutive letters) or remove them completely with the OpenType "Swash" feature.

Font #105: Rivanna NF Pro
19.05.10 12:00
This font has a charming mix of the organic forms of the Art Nouveau style and the geometric forms of the Art Deco style - and it makes it work! :) Nick Curtis says: "A general-purpose Art Nouveau font that has been kicking around for a while under various names. As usual, redrawn for consistency and economy of line. Named, for no good reason, after the river that flows near Thomas Jefferson’s home, Monticello."

Font #104: Visitor BRK Ten Pro
04.05.10 12:00
This is the first true pixel-font released by CheapProFonts. It may not be the first font based on a 5x5 pixel grid, but it probably has the best language support ;) The glyphs have all been optimized for Flash (by making all shapes slightly overlapping) and should render sharp and perfect when set in 10px size (or multitudes of 10). As with all pixelfonts: make sure to place the text at coordinates with whole numbers, and always use left (and NEVER centered) alignment.

Font #103: East Market NF Pro
01.05.10 12:00
Another stylish retro script from Nick Curtis. After a general cleanup and the usual character extension this font is now ready for international use :) Nick Curtis says: "Greg Thompson’s classic font Bodega has been a favorite of mine ever since it came on the scene in the early 90s, both in its sans and serif versions. Here’s a different take on the OldStyle version, fattened up and ready to add its quirky charm to your next project."

A grunged-up variant of ITC Avant Garde Gothic – with ultra-tight spacing (uppercase letters are mostly overlapping)! Perfect for that worn but stylish look, now with hugely extended language support!

Vic Fieger has allowed me to rework the fonts in his nice collection! Vic is an illustrator and cartoonist who has made many stylistic fonts for use in his work, and Im really looking forward to polishing many of them up to a professional standard and giving them our usual multilingual character set. Thanks, Vic! :)
